Pimperne

Welcome to the ancient village of Pimperne. The village is recorded in the Doomsday Book and the name itself comes from the Celtic ‘pimp pren’, meaning five trees.

For hundreds of years a farming community, today Pimperne is a thriving village with a good community spirit. It has a school, church, two pubs, an excellent village shop and Post Office.
